Good teacher training courses for spoon-fed teachersBefore we can expect teachers and students globally to make full use of blogs, podcasts, Skypecasts and webcasts, we need to build good teacher training courses. In my opinion, the courses should be (1) multifaceted, including both text, pictures, video, sound, and hands-on components, thus (2) mostly asynchronous, with also (3) some synchronous components. There could also be (4) a ‘Quick Start’ for those who do not need all the details that the spoon-fed teachers require. Even they may find the instructions useful for certain points later.
